Lord Mayor takes to Catwalk for ‘Life Made Fabulous’ Fashion Show
Dublin City Council in association with Debenhams Ireland brings you the ‘Life Made Fabulous Fashion Show as part of the City Council’s Social Inclusion Week. This unique fashion show for the over 55s will take place on Wednesday 28th, September from 10 am – 12pm in Debenhams Restaurant, Henry Street, Dublin 1.

Life is fabulous at 55 and older and to celebrate this, thirty volunteer models from Dublin made up of ‘extraordinary’ men and women will take to the catwalk to showcase just how stylish the over 50s can be. The models’ family and friends will attend as guests they will be treated to a special morning of breakfast, music, mini makeovers and consultations.

All of the models will be styled from head to toe by Debenhams and Jules Fallon from First Option Model Agency. Lisa Cannon from TV3 will be MC for the event.

Speaking ahead of the fashion show Lord Mayor of Dublin Brendan Carr Said “I am delighted to open and be taking part in the ‘Life Made Fabulous Fashion Show’. Dublin City Council is committed to creating a city that is socially inclusive and age friendly and this unique event celebrates ageing in a very positive light”.
