Dublin's Lord Mayor Andrew Montague is asking the people of Dublin to show their support for the Dublin GAA teams who will be taking on Kerry in the All-Ireland Senior Football Final and Tipperary in the All-Ireland Minor Football Final next Sunday in Croke Park.

The Lord Mayor says 'let show the teams that we are 100% behind them by flying the Dublin Colours from our homes, cars, bikes and work places. I have started by flying the colours on the Lord Mayor’s car.’

Dublin City Council is showing its strong support for the teams by lighting two of the city's most historic buildings - The Mansion House and City Hall -  in blue. In addition to a poster campaign the Council is also adding additional colour to the city by putting extra flags and bunting on the streets.

The Lord Mayor is particularly asking all of the Dublin GAA clubs to fly the colours to show support for the teams.
