Household Waste Disposal.

Dublin City Council is reminding people that household waste collections are continuing and you should continue to use your bin or bag collection as normal.

For those who cannot access a normal household waste collection we will be accepting household waste at our Pigeon House Road recycling centre from Weds 1st April on a restricted basis.

Please note that the following measures will be in place in the centre to protect the safety of staff and the public.

  • Restricted opening hours: 9am – 12pm Monday to Friday
  • Only household black bag waste will be accepted.
  • Restricted access will be in place with a minimum number of customers allowed to enter the centre at any one time.
  • Customer directional system will be in place to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to.
  • Please use card payment at  the pay machine where possible.  The normal charge of €4 per bag applies.

These restrictions are in place to ensure that social distancing measures are adhered to and to ensure the safety of staff and the public.

This service is provided strictly for those who cannot access normal household waste collections.

Please use your normal household waste collection service wherever possible and do not undertake any unnecessary journeys at this time.
