Lord Mayor Breen expresses condolences on death of Garret Fitzgerald

Dublin’s Lord Mayor Gerry Breen has expressed his sadness on the death of former Taoiseach and party colleague, Garret Fitzgerald.

Lord Mayor Breen says “Garret Fitzgerald served with integrity and honour both as Minister for Foreign Affairs and as Taoiseach.  As Lord Mayor I wish to offer my sincere condolences on behalf of the citizens of Dublin to Garrett’s sons John and Mark and his daughter Mary.

I am privileged to make the Mansion House available to the Fitzgerald family for the repose of Dr. Fitzgerald on Saturday 21st May.  The public may visit the Mansion House to pay their respects from 11am to 7pm. Books of Condolence will also be available for members of the public to sign.”
