Dublin’s Lord Mayor Gerry Breen congratulates the Dublin Senior Hurling team on their win over Kilkenny in the 2011 National Hurling League final.

Lord Mayor Breen says

“Dublin’s victory today was reward for the team’s performances during this year’s National Hurling League. It is also the result of the dedication and hard work the hurling community in Dublin has put in over the last number of years. I would like to congratulate the Dublin County Board, Anthony Daly, his management team and all the members of the Senior Hurling panel. They have set a wonderful example to young people in the city and their win today is good news for hurling in Dublin.”

The Lord Mayor also hopes to meet the management and hurling panel soon. He says

“I will be in contact with the County Board shortly and I hope to have Anthony Daly, his staff and squad as my guests at the Mansion House.”
