Lord Mayor opens Book of Condolence for Fidel Castro

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Brendan Carr will open a Book of Condolence in the Mansion House, Dawson Street on Monday, 28th November and Tuesday, 29th November for the former President of Cuba, Fidel Castro. 

Lord Mayor Carr said "I would like to express my sympathies to the people of Cuba following the death of their iconic leader Fidel Castro. I will open a Book of Condolence in the Mansion House to allow Dubliners pay their own respects."

The public will be able to sign the Book of Condolence at The Mansion House, Dawson St. as follows:

  • Monday, 28th November 11am – 4.00 pm
  • Tuesday, 29th Novembet 10.00 am – 4.00 pm
