Dublin City Council Biodiversity presents its third Biodiversity Village celebrating Biodiversity (variety of life on earth) in Dublin and the recognition that Dollymount is situated in the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere. Biospheres are places which are internationally recognised for their biodiversity value and are managed in a way to promote a balanced relationship between people and nature. Join a host of scientists, conservation volunteers and nature lovers to help you appreciate your special natural surroundings during the Kite surfing event.

Free Information to take home on wildlife, how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, the wonders of the oceans and site guides for North Bull Island will be available. Join us on walks to the dunes to spot and hear Skylarks and Stonechats and Meadow PipIts. Learn how to become a citizen scientist by participating in the Dublin Urban Birds Project recording nesting gulls, Swift and riverbirds. Become an ambassador for the Light Bellied Brent Goose.
