Charleville Mall Library, Friday 25 October 7pm-9.30pm 

An evening of suitably spooky seasonal entertainment and wonder at Dublin'd oldest working public library. Dacre Stoker (great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker) launches Bram Stoker in the North Inner City  written by local historian Hugo McGuinness. Followed by a public interview with Dacre Stoker, hosted by Patrick Bergin.  This will be followed by three talks, starting with Dracula in the Movies by Joe Mooney. Historian in Residence Mary Muldowney  presents Vampires from the East!, lookinng at vampires, myths and ghoulish medical practices.  Hugo McGuinness will close the evening with a talk on Buckingham Street - Gateway to a Gothic Wonderland.  

This special event is part of The Big Scream! the Community Hallowe'en Festival in the North-East Inner City.
