Francis Ledwidge: poet, activist, soldier

The poet Francis Ledwidge from Slane, Co. Meath fought in the First World War with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and was killed at the Battle of Passchendaele on 31st July 1917. Liam O’Meara, chairman of the Inchicore Ledwidge Society, will remember the man, his work and his writings. Admission is free. Booking is recommended.
