Printer-friendly version

Wednesday 26 September at 6.30pm in Marino Library.

Fergus D’Arcy hosts this talk about the John Spratt, Carmelite and the Night Refuge for Women and Children, 1861-1951. Homelessness is nothing new to Dublin: in the middle of the nineteenth century it was bad enough a problem to inspire Cork Street-born Dubliner, John Spratt, to do something about it. The event is free. Booking required.
