Indian Film FestFriday 23 and Saturday 24 November in Kevin Street, Rathmines and Pearse Street Libraries

The Indian Film Festival of Ireland is now in its 9th year and continues with a vision to introduce people in Ireland to the global appeal and popularity of Indian cinema. The festival also aims to create an environment of collaboration between Irish and Indian. This year the Indian Film Festival are hosting screenings in the libraries as follows;

  • Pearse Street Library: Friday 23 November at 1pm - English Vinglish (Hindi with English subtitles).
  • Kevin Street Library: Friday 23 November. Short Films.
    11am to 1pm. 6 films: Aunti Ji, ABC an Inspiration, Lovey Dovey, Visa, Yakshi, Jutti.
    3pm to 5pm. 6 films: Payment, Recycle Minds, Bhook (Hunger), Dilli Wala Dost, Eak Tohfa, Haircut
  • Rathmines Library: Friday 23 November at 1pm - Haider (Bollywood adaptation of Hamlet)
  • Kevin Street Library: Saturday 24 November. Short Films.
    11am to 1pm. 6 films: In Your Arms, Miyan Kal Ana, Salt n Paper, The Last Rain, AAP Ka Amitabh, Naked.
    3pm to 5pm. 6 films: Naintara's Nacklace, Interior Cafe Night, The Other Way, - The Un Arranged, Tea Spoon, Fearless, Pressure Cooker
  • Rathmines Library: Saturday 24 November at 1pm - Ankur Arora Murder Case Dir. Suhel Tatari
  • Admission is free. Booking is not required.
