Jacob's Factory and Dublin Design - A seminar for Heritage Week 2019. Jacob's Biscuits are known for their variety of carefully designed shapes, which enhance their delicious taste. This committment to design will be explored in a seminar arraged by Dublin City Library & Archive, which holds the archives of Jacob's Factory. Guest speakers will deliver presentations on various subjects relating to Jacob's Factory. 

The schedule is as follows: 10.00-10.30 The History of Jacob's Biscuits: an overview by Dr. Seamus Ó Maitiu, Tutor of Local Studies Class at DCLA.  10.30-11.00  Harold Jacob, Harry Clarke and John Keat's The Eve of St. Agnes with Jessica O'Donnell, Dublin City Gallery: The Hugh Lane.  11.00-11.30 Tea/coffee/Jacob's Biscuits  11.30-12.00  Design and packaging of Jacob's Products with Wendy Williams, Design Specialist and Exhibition Curator  12.00-12.30 Discussion.
