The Kearneys – a father and two sons – were hanged together in Bohernabreena c. 1815 in a public spectacle that drew thousands. But there may have been a miscarriage of justice and this talk with John Fitzgerald will reveal some of the facts behind the folklore surrounding their conviction and execution.
