Talk: Patrick O’Connell: The forgotten story of his football career by Cormac Moore, DCC Historian In Residence

Born in Drumcondra in 1887, Patrick O’Connell played for Liffey Wanderers, Belfast Celtic and Manchester United before moving to Spain to manage FC Barcelona in the 1930s where he is credited with saving the club from financial ruin.  The exhibition Patrick O’Connell- The Man who Saved FC Barcelona curated by The Patrick O’Connell Committee will also be on display.

No booking required. Seats are on first come, first served basis. Max capacity 90 people.
