Paul Strzelecki's struggle to save thousands: a forgotten Polish Hero of the Great Irish Famine. This exhibition tells the story of Count Paul ( Pawel) Strzelecki, a world renowned Polish explorer and scientist, who volunteered to work in Ireland to combat famine from 1847-1849. Count Strzelecki deserves wide recognition for his heroism, deep empathy and the impact he made during the catastrophic famine period. 

This exhibition tells the story of his remarkable life and achievements. Presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin.
