GO4ITVarious dates and times in July in Dolphin's Barn, Coolock, Cabra and Walkinstown Libraries.

Go4IT was formed in 2012 and part of it's mission is to excite, inspire and motivate young people to use new digital technologies in fun, collaborative and creative ways. Dublin City Public Libraries are delighted to have the on-board to host 4 workshops ( Scratch Coding Amination, Scratch Gaming, and App Coding) as part of our Summer Programme.  All the workshops free and suitable for children age 7 to 12 year.

  • Scratch Coding Animation Workshop - Thursday 12 July at 2.30pm in Dolphin's Barn Library -  Create your own digital animation.  Learn how to create and control your own sprites and complete an animated story.
  • Scratch Gaming Workshop - Monday 23 July at 2.30pm in Coolock Library. Learn how to design your own computer game. Use a Makey Makey Invention Kit to create your own game controllers.
  • Scratch Gaming Workshop - Tuesday 24 July at 2.30pm in Cabra Library. Learn how to design your own computer game. Use a Makey Makey Invention Kit to create your own game controllers.
  • My first App - Coding Workshops  - Thursday 26 July at 11am in Walkinstown Library.  Develop your very first app using App Inventor. This app will be for use on Android phones.

Booking is essential as places are limited.
