Walkinstown Library, Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th & Friday 14th August at 11am 

Explore the world of coding via scratch, which is a block-based visual programming langauge and website aimed primarily at children. Users of the site can create online projects using a block-like interface. With these lessons students will be introduced to the interface, learn how to use tutorials and start creating their own online games. The workshops will take place via Zoom online platform facilitated by Kids Coder Club. Suitable for children age 10-12 years. An exciting learning opportunity for budding STEM practitioners of the future.

Kids Coder Club is a leading trainer in coding and computing for children.

Places are limited for this series and must be pre-booked with the library. Children are requested to commit to attend all three sessions. Please note when reserving a place, parents are required to provide an e-mail address. A Zoom invite link and pasword will be e-mailed to you in advance of the first live session.
