Join Historian in Residence Maeve Casserly as she explores the lives of women in Dublin’s south east area in the 20th century. From big-name stars like Maureen O’Hara and Maeve Brennan to Dr Kathleen Lynn and lesser known figures, find out more about the women who called this area of the city home. Admission is free. Booking is required.
A new History Reading Group will be launched at this lecture. Each month members of the History Reading Group will read the same history book (which can be borrowed from the library) and meet in the library to discuss it. For more details please contact the library.
