Printer-friendly version

Susie and the Story ShredderVarious date in July. Two shows/workshops daily in Ballyfermot, Ballymun, Pearse Street, Raheny and Walkinstown libraries  -  10.30am and 1.30pm.

Bombinate Theatre have created this wonderful performance and workshop which was commissioned by Dublin City Council's Art's Office. Dublin City Public Libraries are delighted to be able to host the events in the aforementioned libraries. Admission is free but booking is essential.
About the performance: All children’s stories are banned in the Kingdom of Levitas. King Levi says they make your brain go fuzzy and your hands turn green. Susie and Shredder works for the King, shredding stories from dusk ‘til dawn. But today, Susie will read a story for the very first time. Perhaps stories aren’t so scary after all…

About the workshops: The workshops are designed for families and will involve the visual arts and activities to explore the themes identified in the play. Parents / Guardians are asked to remain with their children during the workshop

About Bombinate Theatre:
Bombinate Theatre is an award-winning company creating work for families and young audiences. 'Bombinate' means to make a humming or a buzzing noise. We encourage children to make noise, to ask big questions and to stay on their own buzz. We endeavour to inspire children to get creative and to engage with the arts in all its forms.
