Language Learning

Printer-friendly version

Language learning facilities are available in several of our branch libraries. You can work, should you so wish, towards a library-based Certificate of Course Completion. The certificate is signed by the City Librarian and by the local Librarian and is available to those who have completed a minimum of 50 hours learning related to a specific programme course of study.

The Open Learning Centre in the Central Library offers a wide range of language self learning courses.

Language learning is also available through informal conversation exchange in foreign languages.
