Ardmhéara Bhaile Átha Cliath/Lord Mayor of Dublin Mícheál Mac Donncha will launch the Spirit of San José photographic exhibition in the Atrium, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 on Monday, 16th October at 5.00pm.

The goal of the exhibition is to showcase San José in a variety of different ways as seen through the eyes of professional photographers. Photographers were invited to submit up to 10 images that they felt best met a variety of categories and represented their perspective of the city where they live. The categories covered were civic, cultural, economic, educational, artistic and athletic; from which a jury of experts choose up to 50 images for the display.

“I am delighted to be here today to launch this photographic exhibition which further strengthens our cultural connection with the city of San José in California. Dublin has been twinned with San José for 31 years now and this enduring link between our great cities allows events such as this to happen.” said an tArdmhéara Mícheál Mac Donncha.

The exhibition runs from 16th October, 2017 to 3rd November 2017 in the Atrium and admission is free.
