East Wall Water Sports Facility

Dublin City Council: East Wall Water Sports Centre offer a wide range of activities which will give your group a lot of enjoyment and a little bit of exercise. You can concentrate on one activity such as Sailing, Start Sailing Basic, skills Improving, Skills Advanced, boat handling, Power Boat Levels One and Two and windsurfing. We have a range of windsurfing equipment where you can experience your first trill of sailing or there is the option of rental for those more experienced sailors, canoeing levels one and two and rowing.  We have a selection of rowing boats where we can teach a variety of techniques and disciplines or you can try them all if you have the energy. If you have experience we have the equipment for you or if you are a complete novice our instructors can help and accompany you. We can provide fun activities with the emphasis on team work, sport, and healthy physical activity. Our rates are very reasonable and the centre has everything you will need for an enjoyable day on the water.

Dublin City Council: Dublin Municipal Rowing Centre

Dublin Municipal Rowing Centre is a Dublin City Council and V E C funded centre and is affiliated to the Irish Amateur Rowing Union Schools Rowing.  Over the course of the school term we provide schools with weekly slots with the duration of each schools slot varying between quarters half and full school term bookings. Each class slot is about one hour in length with the emphasis on informing the children about the sport technique and safety on the water while maintaining a fun and relaxed environment. Adaptive Rowing At present DMRC are involved in coaching people with disabilities in our Adaptive Rowing Programme. We are in the process of coaching athletes for future involvement in Adaptive events national and international we are hoping for more athletes to come on board. If you are interested don t hesitate to call us. Every year at the centre we run Halloween Easter and summer camps for children teens with an interest in the sport. Some attendees may have done some rowing with schools or youth clubs affiliated with the centre but we also encourage and welcome complete beginners to the sport. Over the course of the camp we will teach the pupil how to sweep row one oar scull two oars. From the beginning of the camp we at the centre endeavour to make the week as relaxed informative and enjoyable as possible
