Liberties Local Area Plan

Printer-friendly version

Dublin City Council at their meeting on 11th May 2009 adopted The Liberties Local Area Plan.
The plan was adopted following an extensive public consultation period and contains amendments which were made in accordance with the recommendations of the Manager's Report and arising from Councillor Motions.

The plan seeks to achieve the social, economic and physical regeneration of the area by providing a co-coordinated approach to the development of key sites and by exploiting opportunities for the provision of new community infrastructure, new open spaces and public realm improvements.  By setting out clear requirements for social as well as physical infrastructure improvements, the Plan will ensure that regeneration will benefit the entire area and the existing resident community.
