Free Family Fun Fest in Father Collins Park

Summer’s here and what better way to entertain the whole family than an action packed afternoon of fun and entertainment – and it’s FREE. The communities of Belmayne and Clongriffin, together with Dublin City Council, Northside Partnership and ‘Young Community Leaders’, would like you to join them at Father Collins Park, on Saturday 22nd June, from 2p.m. – 5p.m. 

Father Collins Park is a major city park situated in the North Central Area of Dublin. It boasts features including 5 wind turbines, water feature and stage, promenade, playing fields and childrens playground and this Saturday it will have the added attraction of an afternoon festival. Come and join in the fun with plenty of games on offer such as crazy golf and a local community football tournament.   George Larmon and Wild Men Roaming will be performing their musical talents throughout the afternoon whilst bouncy castles and face painting will be on hand also.
Lord Mayor of Dublin, Naoise Ó Muirí said “The community of Belmayne and Clongriffin are in for a big treat this weekend as Father Collins Park will come alive with a festival of fun for all the family on Saturday afternoon. Father Collins Park is one of Dublin’s finest parks.  Why not include in your Saturday plans a trip to this fantastic park for what promises to be an action-packed afternoon for all the family”.
