Council joins local communities to celebrate Halloween safely

Dublin City Council and local communities all over the city have teamed up to organise an action-packed programme of safe, family-friendly events on Halloween Night.  All events are free and everyone is invited to take part in the fireworks, fun, frolics and frights of Halloween.

Ballymun Otherworld Festival, The Plaza, Ballymun, 6-9pm. Includes parades, music and dancing. Finishes with a firework display at 8.45pm.

Finglas Fright Night, Finglas Civic Centre, Mellowes Rd, Finglas, Dublin 11, 6-9pm. Face painting, bouncy castle, carousel and a fireworks display at 8.30pm.
Finglas Halloween Marquee, Main Street, Finglas Village, 11am-4pm

East Wall Halloween Festival Parade, East Wall, Dublin 3. Leaves Strangford Road at 6.15 arrives Russell Avenue 7.15. Includes Haunted House and Halloween Party

Darndale Park, Darndale, Dublin 17. Fireworks display at 6pm
Cherry Orchard, Dublin102. Haunted House in Cherry Orchard Equine Centre, 12-2pm. Big Firework Display 5.30pm in the park opposite St. Ultan’s Primary School.

Remember all bonfires are illegal. Dublin City Council asks people not to go to them. You can report any stockpiled bonfire material to us in confidence right up until Halloween Night at our Litter Hotline 1800 251 500 (office hours) or the EPA's 24 hour National Environmental Complaints Line at 1850 365 121 or log onto www.dublincity247.ie
