It's an-Otherworld Festival; Ballymun's Ghosts and Ghouls come out to play for Halloween

Join in the fun and screams of real Halloween atmosphere as Ballymun hosts its 13th FREE annual Halloween Event; Otherworld Festival.   This year’s theme is ‘The Gathering of Ghosts and Ghouls’ and will take place on Thursday 31st October in the Festival Village on the Plaza, Main Street, Ballymun.  A fang-tastic line up is on offer to spook and surprise; highlights include local food stalls, big screen showing short films, buskers and dancers, circus Gerbola, a festive parade, finale of fireworks display and much more.
Mun-TV, Ballymun’s local pop-up t.v. station will be on site engaging with many interviewees over the course of the evening so keep your ears peeled for them!
Dublin’s Lord Mayor, Oisín Quinn said: “A real family event with thrills as well as frills, Ballymun’s Otherworld festival invites locals and visitors to join in and be part of this creative, spooktacular and lively festival.  Now in its 13th successful year, the festival is growing from strength to strength and really captures the imagination of Halloween whilst engaging the people from young to old, even the faint-hearted!  Ballymun’s Otherworld Festival is one not to be missed this Halloween season”.
The festival organisers are expecting over 5,000 people to attend and enjoy the food, entertainment, music, atmosphere and fireworks.
