Learning Zones

Children using computer in Need a space to do your homework? Need information for that project?

Learning Zones have been set up in a number of libraries across Dublin City to help you with your homework and that all important school project!

The Zones are supported by specially chosen reading and reference materials, together with access to educational websites and other computer software.

Libraries with Learning Zones:

  • Ballymun Library
  • Coolock Library
  • Dolphin's Barn Library
  • Raheny Library
  • Walkinstown Library

The following branch libraries have computer facilities specifically designed for those under 12 years of age - Ballyfermot, Ballymun, Cabra, Central library, Charleville Mall, Coolock, Dolphin's Barn, Pearse Street, Raheny and Walkinstown libraries.

Internet access on these computers is restricted to sites selected and approved by library staff.

So come on in and ask a librarian!
