Sound Bath Meditation

Coinnect to your creative self with this Sound Bath Meditation workshop. Facilitated by Simone Meschnig, Sound Therapist, Yoga and Meditation teacher. Be immersed in the beautiful sounds of Tibetan Singing bowls, Gong, Drum and Chimes.

Kevin St horror bookclub Kevin Street Library launches their new Horror Bookclub on Tuesday June 4th 2019, 6-7pm.

Moving Image

Kevin Street Library, Saturday 15 June at 3.30pm

Learn how to build a projection theatre and create a moving theme-based visual story with artist Elizaberth Archbold. Suitable for children age 7-11 years. Children will experiment with shape and scale to make a story-reel, projecting images onto their theatre screens.

Writers’ Groups

PenLike to write? Want to try? Fiction, poetry, it matters not. A little ambition can go a long way! Members of Writers' Groups meet informally to talk about their writings, improve their skills, and to offer encouragement to one another.

Book Clubs

BooksBook clubs are a popular way for book lovers to discuss books, both fiction and non-fiction, in an informal friendly setting. Some book clubs meet in libraries or each other's homes, some in pubs or restaurants. While there are book clubs active in most of our branch libraries, dates and times can vary, so check with the library in advance if interested in participating in one of the book clubs. Due to the popularity of some book clubs, there may unfortunately be restrictions regarding the intake of new members from time to time, so it is advisable to check on that also.
