Citizens Information Centres

Citizens Information CentresCitizens Information Centres (CICs) are hosted in Donaghmede and Raheny Libraries and provide free, impartial and confidential information. They provide integrated information across the full range of state services and entitlements as well as local services and supports.

U3A: University of the Third Age

Age Action Ireland supports U3A in IrelandBallymun and Rathmines Libraries.

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun. (quote)

An informal U3A learning circle meets in Ballymun Library every second Monday from 2-4pm.
(note: no meeting during the month of August)

The Rathmines U3A group meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 11.00am
