Dublin City Council’s Annual Lunchtime Cycle takes place on Wednesday 17th June at 12.45pm sharp. The hugely popular annual event is running as part of ‘National Bike Week’ which runs from 13th to the 20th June 2015. The Lunchtime Cycle welcomes everyone working in and around Dublin City to get involved, you can form a team with your co-workers or enjoy some solo cycling!

Taking in the old and new of Dublin City, the leisurely lunchtime cycle (5km / 30 minute), kicks off from Grand Canal Square in the heart of Dublin’s Docklands, weaving through the streets of Ringsend, over the East Link Bridge, passing the 3 Arena on the North Wall Quay, over the Samuel Beckett Bridge returning to Grand Canal Square.

Pre-registration is not necessary but if you do register by clicking on http://dublin-city-lunchtime-cycle.eventbrite.ie you will be in with a chance to win an iPad Mini! And the first 500 to register will receive a fabulous goodie bag brimming full of treats! There’s also ‘Best Dressed Cyclist’ ‘Best Dressed Bike’ and ‘Fanciest Hat’ up for grabs with some great prizes - so there’s something for everyone.

Cyclists must be over 16 to participate.  This event is not suitable for children.
