Apply for a HGV Permit(s)

Printer-friendly version

Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) with 5+ axles are not permitted to enter a restricted area of Dublin City between 07.00 – 19.00

  • To travel through the restricted area when you are not permitted to use the Port Tunnel (e.g. wide-load or restricted goods), you can apply for a Transit Permit.

Load/Unload permit

If you need to deliver to or collect from a premises or a construction site within the restricted area of Dublin city, you can apply for a Load/Unload permit.  This permit allows you to travel in the restricted area during restricted hours using a HGV with 5+ axles.
