How to avoid parking near Croke Park

If you are travelling to a match or event in Croke Park Stadium motorists should take note that the roads surrounding the stadium are residential roads and that parking is very limited and restricted.

Dublin City Council recommends that you make use of the alternative travel and convenient parking options available which ensure easy access to and from the stadium. As part of a joint initiative to promote sustainable travel to Croke Park, Dublin City Council, the GAA, Croke Park Stadium and An Garda Síochána have provided comprehensive travel and parking guides for patrons.

Parking on Roads Surrounding Croke Park

  • Roads surrounding the stadium are monitored during matches and events. Any car parked illegally will be clamped or removed.

  • Maximum 2 or 3 hours parking, including weekend restrictions and extended hours of operation. Check the signs on the road.

  • Other parking restrictions are in place throughout the area and motorists should make sure they are aware of these if they choose to park.

If a car is clamped the owner will have to contact Dublin Street Parking Services, tel. +353 1 6022500. Payment of €80 is required in order for a clamp to be removed. http://www.dsps.ie/

 

Car Parks in Dublin City match day special from just €4 per day

Car parks offer many advantages to motorists that require parking when attending the stadium. Preferential daily parking rates are offered at car parks throughout the city, many of which are within a short walking distance of the stadium. As there is no time restriction cars can be parked for the day without having to worry about being clamped. In some cases parking spaces can be pre-booked before arrival in Dublin.

LUAS Park & Ride

LUAS provide Park & Ride facilities on the Red and Green Line. Daily tariffs for parking range from €2 - €5 per day.
