If you are a driver (or car passenger) with a disability, you can apply for a Disabled Person’s Parking Permit. This gives you special permissions for parking in Dublin. Find out more about these permissions below.

Parking with a Disabled Person's Parking Permit

If your vehicle displays a Disabled Person's Parking Permit you have special permissions for parking in Dublin City. This includes:  

Note: All vehicles displaying a Disabled Person's Parking Permit must follow normal road safety and parking guidelines.

Apply for a disabled person's parking bay outside your home

If you have a physical mobility difficulty, you can apply for a disabled person's parking bay outside your home. Such a bay will be provided if you have no off-street parking and if certain other criteria are met.  To request criteria on applying for a Disabled Parking Bay, please email  covidmobility@dublincity.ie
