Connect to the Drainage Network

Irish Water became the statutory body with responsibility for all water services, both drinking water and waste water, on 1st January 2014.

For new connections to the foul and combined drainage network, Dublin City Council will act as agents of Irish Water and facilitate the provision of these services.
For connections to the Surface Water Network, please contact Dublin City Council. All queries in relation to these services should be directed to the Drainage Division, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, T. 222 2155 

The application form for wastewater connections is available below.
Permission for a new connection to a surface water sewer or to a watercourse/river will remain the responsibility of Drainage Division, Dublin City Council.
