Important Notice: Our Collins Avenue  & Windmill Road bring centres will remain closed until further notice due to Covid-19 restrictions. We will update you with a reopen date as soon as it is confirmed.

Windmill Road Bring Centre is scheduled to reopen Monday the 8th of June. Operational Monday -Friday at present.

Our Oscar Traynor Road Bring Centre has reopened since the 26th of May after temporary closure.

Our Bring Centres at Coolock & Gullistan Terrace, Rathmines are reopened since Monday 27th April. 

Opening Times

  • Monday -Thursday: 9am -4pm
  • Friday: 9am - 1pm
  • Saturday(Excluding Herzog Park & Eamonn Cannt Park): 10am - 4pm
  • Closed daily for lunch 1pm - 2pm

The schedule for opening other Bring Centres is as follows:

  • Week beginning Tuesday 5 May: Grangegorman, Kylemore Road and Marrowbone Lane container.
  • Bring Centres at Herzog Park, Rathgar & Eamonn Ceannt Park, Crumlin are scheduled to reopen Monday the 11th of May.

Dublin City Council operates 8 community bring centres within its Administrative Area. All sites are managed by Dublin City Council with certain services subcontracted out to third parties.

Bring centres  have set opening and closing times similar to Recycling Centres but are smaller in size and serve a smaller community.  They also accept fewer waste streams than Recycling Centres. Except for the charge applied for the disposal of green waste at the Bring Centres, all other materials are accepted free of charge.
