Grow It Yourself Groups

Fruit and vegetablesGrow It Yourself (GIY) Groups meet in two libraries (Walkinstown and Raheny libraries). GIY groups are local food growers networks that recreate the camaraderie of allotment growing for back-garden vegetable growers by getting them together on a regular basis to learn from each other and exchange tips, war-stories and produce. Soundscape - Immersive Multisensory Experience for Children with Autism. Suitable for children age 6-10 years. Enjoy this space where children can wander freely and explore a variety of sights, feelings and sounds. Sound artist Slavek Kwi and performer Niamh Lawlor guide children and their families on a sensory and immersive journey unique to the moment, which responds to the ability of the child. Children are invited to connect with and make sound with the artists.

Storytime for All - relaxed storytelling with Paul Timoney

Join Paul Timoney for relaxed storytelling with Children's Books Ireland. Session suitable for children age 3-6 years. Paul Timoney tells stories to people of all ages, and knows how to make children laugh with his brilliant stories. Paul can tell stories that engage all of the senses, with lots of fun props to touch and play with that fully engage children with the story. He will be telling some sensory stories in this session.
