Dublin Fire Brigade is the largest full time brigade in the country. We provide a fire and emergency response service to 1.2 million people throughout the city and county of Dublin.

Each of our fulltime stations is staffed seven days a week by officers and firefighters. This ensures continuous protection for the lives of you and your family.

Civic Amenity Sites(CA Sites)

Both North Strand & Ringsend Civic Amenity Site are managed and operated on behalf of Dublin City Council by Greenstar.

Householders are required to separate their food waste from their general waste. Dublin City Council provides a food waste disposal service at the Civic Amenity Sites at Ringsend and North Strand.

What is Climate Change?

Climate change refers to a significant and long-term change in the measures of climate such as temperature, rainfall or wind.  Scientific evidence has demonstrated that warming of the global climate system is unequivocal and is caused by a combination of natural processes and factors and human activities though greenhouse gas emissions.  Predicted and measured adverse impacts include the following (Desmond et al., 2014)
