Mind Yourself

Dublin City Council Libraries are delighted to announce details of this year’s Mind Yourself programme which builds on the success of last year’s one. The programme runs from 26th January for a month and takes place in numerous Dublin City Council Libraries.

The Mind Yourself series will include talks, workshops and practical classes that will encourage people to take time out to explore new experiences in order to enhance their health and well being. The main emphasis throughout the programme is based on positive thinking and feeling good. Topics covered will include positive psychology, meditation, stress management, yoga and healthy eating.

“The Mind Yourself programme is designed to encourage all of us to feel at our optimum.  It complements national, local government and library policy supporting Well Being and a Healthy Ireland. It builds on the existing free public library service providing a diversity of materials (books, magazines etc.) and learning opportunities in this critical area of interest, helping us all to survive and thrive” said Margaret Hayes, Dublin City Librarian.

All talks, workshops and classes are open to all and free of charge. Log onto www.bit.ly/mindyourself2015 for full programme details and to check booking requirements.
Photographs have been distributed to your picture desk.
