Cabra Library, Tuesday 18 June, 25 June and 2 July at 10am-10.45am & 11.30am-12.15pm

Early Years Music Programme as part of Cabra Library Creative Hub. Very young children ( age 3-5 years ) are invited to experience music with a range of early years musicians across various musical genres. Each musician will deliver two sessions aimed at a separate audience: Creche/Pre School 10.00am-10.45am and Families 11.30am-15.15pm.

Tuesaday 18 June - Julie Tiernan's music workshop explores some of the infinite possibilities of creative expression when we use our voice and imagination to celebrate self and explore the world around us.

Tuesday 25 June - Eamon Sweeney will bring children on a magical journey of rhyme and song where they can explore a range of musical instruments, sounds and beats.

Tuesday 2 July - The Quiet Tree ( Ceol Connected ) is an intimate traditional Irish musical performance. Led by musicians Thomas Johnston and Stephen Markham this delightful musical will take very young children on a journey through the forest, where they will become a band of musicians that explore instruments, sing and dance, helping Oran the owl, Sorley the snail and Faolán the frog bring the old oak tree to life.

The Cabra Library Creative Hub is an initiative of Dublin City Arts Office and Dublin City Libraries.  Places are limited so pre-booking for each session is required in advance with the library.
