  • The Wood Quay Summer Sessions

    The Wood Quay Summer Sessions return for a fourth year of free concerts at the Wood Quay Amphitheatre, Dublin this July. Taking place from 1pm to 2pm every Thursday throughout July, the Wood Quay Summer Sessions are the perfect opportunity to gather family, friends and work colleagues and enjoy an hour of live music on your lunchtime. Every week, music fans will get to experience some incredible live music from up and coming acts, as well as established acts, from across a wide range of genres from Trad to RnB, classical to contemporary and jazz to hip-hop.

  • Bring free WiFi to your community – applications now open

    The Smart City Unit of Dublin City Council is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications under the WiFi4U scheme. This scheme will assist eligible organisations in installing new WiFi networks or upgrading existing WiFi networks, through funding from the EU and from the Department of Rural and Community Development.   • Beach Wheelchairs Available

    There are 4 beach wheelchairs available to use on Dollymount beach for the bathing season. There are two hippocampae and two Debug beach wheelchairs.

    The beach wheelchairs are now available for use directly on the beach. They are being managed by Pure Magic and are available near the mens bathing shelter on the north bull wall. The wheelchairs need to be booked in advance.

Section 254 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 provides for a licensing system advertising structures (commonly referred to as A-Boards) on the public road or footpath. It is the Council’s intention to regulate for such advertising boards. The Council intends to commence the licensing from the 1st September 2019.
