Dublin Hosts Major ‘Climate Brave’ Conference

Dublin will today (Feb 17th) become the first Irish city to sign a commitment to meet WHO air quality guideline values by 2030. In a rare joint pledge, the Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin and the Mayors/Cathaoirligh of the other 3 Dublin local authorities will sign up to the BreatheLife campaign and call on all Dubliners to be ‘Climate Brave’.

Storm Dennis

Following a ‘Yellow’ wind and rain warning issued today by Met Éireann, Storm Dennis will bring some very wet and very windy weather over the weekend in to Monday. The public are advised to observe caution and not to enter Parks or Open Spaces where large trees are present during high winds.  Caution should also be observed on roads and paths due to the risk of trees/branches falling.
