  • Bring free WiFi to your community – applications now open

    The Smart City Unit of Dublin City Council is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications under the WiFi4U scheme. This scheme will assist eligible organisations in installing new WiFi networks or upgrading existing WiFi networks, through funding from the EU and from the Department of Rural and Community Development. For more details, please visit http://bit.ly/Wifi4EU_Online_Form . The closing date for applications is Monday, 8th July 2019.

  • Beach Wheelchairs Available

    There are 4 beach wheelchairs available to use on Dollymount beach for the bathing season. There are two hippocampae and two Debug beach wheelchairs.

    The beach wheelchairs are now available for use directly on the beach. They are being managed by Pure Magic and are available near the mens bathing shelter on the north bull wall. The wheelchairs need to be booked in advance.

Dubliners invited to celebrate cycling with international delegates as part of the Velo-city Dublin Bike Parade

Participants can enjoy cycling on the Sutton to Sandycove (S2S) cycle route, and enjoy a host of activities in St. Anne’s Park Raheny 17th June 2019: Dublin City Council is calling on the people of Dublin to take part in a fun-filled Bike Parade on Wednesday 26th June at 3.30pm, as part of the Velo-city 2019 international cycling conference.
