If you are concerned in relation to the well being of a horse, or wish to report a stray horse please contact Dublin City Council at (01) 2222165, Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm.  Read more on the Control of Horses in the Dublin City Council administrative area. [1]

Dublin City Council arranges for the provision and operation of a Dog Pound facility for the purposes of its functions under the Control of Dogs Acts 1986 and The Control of Dogs (Amendment) Act 1992. Read more about this and other dog control measures [2].

Concerns about animal cruelty should be reported to the Dublin Society for the Protection of Animals [3]
