Seven-day recycling available at 5 city Bring Centres this summer

Dublin City Council has announced that five Bring Centres will open from 10am to 4pm on Sundays between now and 27th September 2015.
The Bring Centres are located at:

  • Upper Grangegorman Road, Dublin 7 (off North Circular Road)
  • Collins Avenue, Dublin 9 (opposite DCU)
  • Oscar Traynor Road, Collins Avenue, Dublin 5
  • Gullistan Terrace, Rathmines, Dublin 6
  • Windmill Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12

Opening these Bring Centres on a seven-day basis is part of Dublin City Council’s drive to make it easier for people to recycle. The Bring Centres accept a wide range of materials including glass, paper, cardboard, cans and plastics. They also accept garden waste at a charge of €2 for an 80 litre bag and €16 for a 1m3 skip bag.

Sandra Smith, Environmental Scientific officer with Dublin City Council say: “We’ve opened these Bring Centres on Sunday because we want to make it as easy and convenient as possible for people to recycle more. It will be particularly popular for people working on their garden over the summer who need to dispose of garden waste.”
