Spooktacular fireworks, parades & family fun as Dublin celebrates Halloween #DubSafeHalloween

A spectacular firework display over the Plunkett Tower, the last remaining tower block in Ballymun, will be one of the major attractions in Dublin this Halloween 2014.
It’s just one of a series of family-friendly Halloween events Dublin City Council and local communities are staging to celebrate Halloween safely this year.
Some highlights on 31st October:
Ballymun Otherworld Festival -5,000 people expected.
March of The Scarecrows from Dane Rd. arrives in The Plaza, Ballymun at 6pm
Gates open – entertainment, live music, food stalls, ghost train
Fireworks display over Plunkett Tower at 8.45pm
Finglas Fright Night
Finglas Civic Centre, Mellowes Rd, 6-9pm, Halloween Parade, family entertainment and fireworks display
East Wall
Halloween Parade arrives at East Wall Recreation Centre, Russell Avenue, Dublin 3 at 7.15pm. Includes spectacular ‘Hocus Pocus’ dance performance, and family fun at the ‘Haunted House’
‘Get Your Spook Off’ at St. Catherine’s Church, Thomas St from 3-6.30pm on 31st October
