Statement regarding Storm Brendan

Dublin City Council has been monitoring the forthcoming unsettled weather following advice from Met Eireann and The National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management. As a result, Dublin City Council will be erecting flood defences and closing the car parks at Clontarf and Sandymount from 6am Monday 13th January 2020. It is expected that these will reopen later on Monday afternoon. It may also be necessary to close some flood gates along the River Dodder in the Ballsbridge area. Dublin City Council will continue to monitor the weather over the next few days.
