Statement by An tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh on last evenings terrorist attacks in Paris.

"I am deeply shocked and saddened by the appalling terrorist attacks that took place across Paris last evening. On behalf of the people of Dublin, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to French President Francois Hollande, the French Ambassador to Ireland, Jean-Pierre Thébault, to the French Authorities and the people of Paris and France. Our thoughts today are especially with all the families, relatives and friends left so heartbroken and bereaved by this mindlessly savage and violent massacre, in which so many innocent people going peacefully about their normal daily lives were killed and brutally injured."
"It is incomprehensible that the people of Paris and France have once again been subjected to such an horrific attack on humanity and democracy, following the attacks last January at the Charlie Hebdo Offices".
"Once again we stand united with the people of Paris and France who are foremost in our thoughts at this incredibly difficult time."
