Printer-friendly version

ReCreate WorkshopPearse Street Library was delighted that RECREATE could give this creative workshop on Wednesday 16th September 2015.

ReCreate promote ‘Make Art not Waste’. Participants explored the endless possibilities of creative reuse using items from ReCreates’ ‘Warehouse of Wonders’, such as wool, paper, plastics, fabric, tubing and foam. They experimented with printing, weaving and much more in this artist led workshop.

What a great turnout and display of creative flair resulting in many wonderful creations!

Is it possible to recycle clean foam rubber from a couch and armchairs in Dublin?

Dublin City Council's Civic Amenity Sites at Ringsend and Shamrock Terrace recycle a wide range of items. However they do not accept this type of material for recycling and it would need to be disposed of in the general waste and charges will apply. I have attached information leaflets for both sites.

Kind regards,
Gillian
