Work Matters LogoDo you have a business idea but don’t know where to start?  Itching to change your job but lack direction? Perhaps you have never worked or have been out of work for a while and are wondering how to make the first step to finding your dream job.
If this is you, you may not have to look much further than your local library.

Through the Work Matters national library initiative, Dublin City Public Libraries are launching new hub spaces with IT equipment and lots of useful books to help you get started. Choose from 500 online learning courses or research from a range of books on business, journals, newspapers, reports and databases. Book in to use quiet hub spaces at Cabra Library, Ballymun Library, Coolock Library, Ballyfermot Library or the Central Library, Henry Street. The Work Matters at Your Library initiative was launched on Thursday 20th September by Dublin City Public libraries and their partners, Dublin City Council’s Local Enterprise Centre, Intreo and City of Dublin Education & Training Board. Plans will be developed in partnership to provide advice and talks for job seekers and business start ups. Think no more, just come into the library and get going!
