Weather alert issued 4.15pm 13th November 2014

So far today up to 36 millimetres of rain has fallen throughout the city. There has been extensive localised road flooding as a result and most have been swiftly dealt with. Further extensive rainfall is expected tonight. Dublin City Council will be mobilising staff to deal with further flooding.

Weather Alert issued 5pm November 12th 2014

Following receipt of a rainfall warning for the Dublin Area from Met Éireann of heavy rain tomorrow (Thursday 13th November) followed by another spell of heavy rain on Thursday night, Dublin City Council will be deploying resources to monitor the drainage network, including rivers and streams and will deal with anticipated localised road flooding. Between 40 and 60 millimetres of rain is expected to fall.
